Briahnna got a haircut!
So Bri got a hair cut today! She's been wanting it cut but in all honesty I didn't want it cut. It's not that bad though, her hair grows out quick so I guess it's fine! The ONLY reason I agreed with the cut though is because she sucks at washing and brushing her hair... so I guess the hair cut is punishment? I told her that if she doesn't take care of it then I will let Matt cut it next time!

Progress Reports are in!
Lets see here, I think I will start with Matt since he is the oldest! Here we go!
Math-82(B)
Reading-82(B)
Writing-68(D)
Language Arts-77(C)

Social Studies-S (Satisfactory)
I'm guessing that they haven't really done much Social Studies yet cause if they were then I don't get why they don't actually have a letter grade! No teacher comments! (that's always a good sign) No phone calls, no bad reports, no color changes! Matt is really starting out good this year, I'm really hoping that his ADHD is being better controlled now! I have to say, I'm not that disappointed in the grades just because it's only a progress report and school has just started, so we have plenty of time to get those grades up!
Now for Briahnna!

Teacher comments: Low test scores in Reading.
I have to say, I'm a little confused about this comment! Briahnna reads ALL THE TIME! Her AR list... 28 books, 19 of those books she scored a 100 on the test, the rest, there was nothing under an 80%. So I'm thinking that since her problem is low test scores, then possibly it's a comprehension or distraction problem. She has had 3 color changes this week, she says it's because she's not staying in her seat. Not to mention she was wrote up on the bus a couple weeks ago for screaming at the bus driver! I was appalled by this, I honestly didn't know what to say when the bus driver called me about it. Bri was getting into trouble instead of Matt this year! I honestly think they switched places!

Bri's amazing hair!
Briahnna has such amazingly beautiful long hair! She hates to brush it and honestly so do I, and it's so hard to do anything with it, for one, because she is always complaining about me pulling her hair and second, she never wants to sit still. I found an amazing blog though! It solves all of my hair-do problems with her!

Introduction!
I wanted to start this blog for my children, while they are old enough to use the computer, type, spell, or anything else they need to do on here, I thought it best if I write for them; considering I have yet explained what a blog is or how it's used! You will only read about Mathew and Briahnna on this page. This is my way of sharing there life moments with my family as well as theirs! So whether you know my kids personally or are subscribing to this blog because they are after all your family as well; I truly hope you enjoy your reading and find yourself growing closer to them!
Mathew (spelled with one "T") turned 9 years old January 27th! Mathew will be entering into the 4th grade this school year. He is an energetic and creative child. Matt (as he likes to be called), Enjoys: playing with his toy cars, football in the yard, our dogs, his sister, movies, Facebook, catching crabs at the beach, the ocean waves! Dislikes: being alone, playing with his sister, taking his medicine, following directions, school, going to sleep, writing, (anything else that involves responsibility!)
Briahnna just turned 8 on March 17th (ST. Patrick's Day). She will be starting 3rd grade! She is very independent. Likes: her BFF (Angelina), Littlest Pet Shop (LPS), Hannah Montana, anything Disney channel related, being alone, reading, napping, sleep in general, sleep walking, talking, boys, writing, High School Musical! Dislikes: Playing with her brother!
